Welford Cottage is a holiday rental property with character and offers an excellent standard of self-catering accommodation, where you will feel at home as soon as you arrive. It is tastefully decorated throughout with an eclectic mix of antiques, period pieces aswell as the necessary modern conveniences.

The ground floor is open plan, having a lounge/dining room with exposed beams and a brick feature fireplace. Chill with a glass of wine on the comfy sofa or armchair, watch a movie on the new flatscreen HD TV with integrated DVD player and Freeview channels. Listen to some music on the mini CD player or use the iPod docking station available (please bring your own iPod along).

The dining area has a glass topped table, which seats four. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher, plus pretty much all the kitchen paraphernalia you should need during your stay.

From the lounge; french windows open out on to the private terrace garden, with seating for 4 people, a perfect spot for reading the morning newspapers. The terrace has open access to the large lawned communal garden which is ideal for a game of boules, frisbee or badminton and big enough for the children to let off steam whilst you sit back and relax.

Off the entrance hall there is downstairs toilet and the staircase leading to the first floor which has two bedrooms - one has a king-size bed and the other has a double bed, a Flatscreen TV/DVD player (with Freeview Channels). Both have built-in wardrobes and importantly comfy mattresses.

The bathroom has a vanity unit, bath, shower, heated towel rail, a selection of toiletries at your disposal, as well as candles to help you unwind.

We provide a Welcome Pack for all stays which includes Tea, Coffee (instant and fresh ground), Sugar, Milk, Juice, Olive oil, Condiments and Cakes/Biscuits.

Plus, for your convenience, quality bedlinen, bath & hand towels, tea-towels, electricity/hot water/ heating, cleaning materials, dishwasher tablets and loo rolls are included in the rental price.

There is also a selection of magazines, CDs and loads of great DVDs for you to borrow, plus the usual stuff such as a decent hairdryer, iron/ironing board and trouser press. If you are bringing along your baby there is a new Graco travel cot available for you to use. Access to the is internet is available via BTOpenZone, payable by the hour/day/week and is not included in the rental price.

Welford Cottage has a dedicated parking space and also space for an additional vehicle too, so no expensive car parking to worry about or residential permits or meters to contend with.

Lastly, the owners personally manage all lettings and clean and maintain the cottage to a very high standard and with attention to detail. With this in mind and for the comfort of all of our guests pets are not allowed to stay and there is strictly no smoking permitted in the cottage.
